I figured I'd just weigh in if others were having issues with similar setups, or if anyone had advice or solutions. On my desktop it runs like a charm and looks breathtaking with it's art style that feels like it was made specifically to appeal to me :b. That being said, I am loving the game tremendously and am very happy to support it. I can even stream the game from my desktop to my laptop with steam's home streaming service, and it runs in better fps than right off the laptop. That being said, HD playback from the disc, or netflix, or amazon video have been flawless, and other streaming formats besides flash have been working great. I also have been having trouble lately with adobe flash player crashing and giving me similar low fps, so I wonder if the two problems are related. I have a suspicion that the problem lies in some kind of incompatibility with my setup and adobe air. Tormentum eats up a solid 100% cpu usage for the dual core 2.3ghz for some reason. Not that that means this should run well, but it gives an idea of what I'm used to playing on this thing. stairs, Tormentum, 1080P, fantasy Art, boat, Dark Sorrow, mist, Altar. While the laptop is underspecced, it can handle games like Shadowrun Returns, Machinarium, Primodia, Unreal Tournament 2004, and even the terribly optimized neverwinter nights 2, without issue, which surprises even me. Change size of Tormentum images and customize Tormentum backgrounds to device. I don't believe it's a problem with the optimization by the devs, because hell, it works on my tiny budget tablet. I mean it is barely playable, with slow mouse movement even on the main menu. The laptop is a bit old, with an amd dual core 2.3 ghz laptop processor, an hd 6310, and 4 gigs of ram on windows 7 64 bit. However, for some reason, on my laptop, it runs terribly. On my HP7 Stream tablet (yes the 100$ tablet) it runs surprisingly well, and is completely playable, even with touch screen only with nearly no slowdown (though I can't exit or access the options screen without using escape).
